I’d been looking around for a while trying to find a better solution for TV and internet, and I came across some direct TV internet pricing that wasn’t half bad. Once I signed up I was really happy with the service and all the channels I got, and it’s been nice to have an internet connection at home as well. My favorite thing to watch on satellite is Say Yes to the Dress, that cheesy TLC show about brides that shop in a high end wedding dress boutique in New York. I know the whole thing’s corny, but I love how realistic it is and watching all the family drama unfold. Inevitably, there’s always a grandma that’s too traditional or a sister that wants the bride to wear too many sequins. It amazes me how much energy these girls put into a simple dress. And the price! I can’t believe people are willing to spend a year’s rent on a dress they’ll wear for a single day! Either way, it makes for good TV so I don’t plan on stopping my viewing anytime soon!

Jermaine - THANK YOU for your guest post! I never really watched Say Yes to the Dress but will admit to watching quite a few episodes of Bridezilla on WE. Watching the brides flip out was hilarious!
We recently got rid of cable since we weren't watching much TV...I'm starting to think that we should look into getting more channels though! I forgot about all of the programs that we are missing!
